Heroes & Villains
Heroes and Villains’ live shows were often ramshackle with nervous energy. It was the type of setting where anything could happen from equipment malfunctions to misremembering lyrics, chords or both, and the boys seemed ready for, even expecting anything. In the true spirit of rock n roll, they always plowed through and managed to pull of some enjoyable performances in the process. Their last set, at Springwater Supper Club in Nashville on January 18, 2006, was on the high end of the H&V live experience, as they burned through several of their fan favorites as well as some newer numbers. Keep an ear out for the drunken sing-a-longs and requests, not H&V related, but certainly H&V inspired.
